My birthday is on the 12th, and it's going to be a hell of a party! They already have the paddles standing by to bring me back to life several times, so now all I need now is a nurse and wild guests! So the 12-19th works great for us, as that's when ALL THE FUN FOLKS are going!
First off, Sorry for hijacking the thread! Well, not really! But we missed it sooo much last year when we couldn't see all our June friends that we had made in the two previous years. The friendships you make in just a few short days or weeks are incredible, and something that so many families and friends lack in your day to day lives back home. So when we said nothing would stand in our way of getting back to our June friends this year at TTR, we meant it! Needless to say WE ARE SO EXCITED to be heading back, June 8-18th it looks like for us. We haven't booked it yet, but have done all the research, and just waiting on our taxes to come back in a 10-14 days and it will be a done deal. Feel free to friend us on here, ask us anything, we will be more then happy to answer any questions pertaining to anything. Especially you first timers looking to find out as much as you possibly can about TTR. There are a lot of truths about TTR, and a lot of misconceptions, and you know what they say.....The truth usually lies somewhere in the middle! Easiest thing I could say is regardless of what you're there for, you'll find it! IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IT! Nothing is in your face, unless you want it to be! We both consider it an ADULT SPRING BREAK! A chance once a year to unwind from the kids, jobs, and push the envelope however you like with no one to judge you! TTR is the LAS VEGAS of MEXICO! Instead of "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas", TTR trumps that with "Nobody knows you, and nobody gives a sh&t"! So don't be shy, don't be afraid to ask serious questions or private messages of those that have been there, because I'm sure they'll give you an honest answer! As for the theme nights. We've planned both previous trips to have lots of theme nights, but neither time despite having them planned out and everybody in agreement did people really participate. There seems to be just a few that everyone loves and goes crazy for and participates in. Our experience has been that THE Lingerie Night, White-Night that TTR has is always a hit. School girl night themes by cancunecare members is always well supported as well, and so is usually a sexy black dress night! The only other theme that we've seen that worked somewhat was a glow party night, which would be similar to a DISCO-80's theme. Our past observations were that we brought everything for each theme that was discussed and agreed on by majority, and when we showed up down at PatyO or Disco, only 1 or 2 were dressed in theme, and then they went and changed shortly after since no one else was doing it. So there are generally some fizzles with theme nights, but the following are what we've seen that are usually well supported: Lingerie Night All White Sexy School Girl Sexy Black Dress Night Glow Party! Anything that glows, body paint, glow sticks, clothing, etc. Just our 2 cents, we always go with the majority, and can't wait to get to know the ones we haven't met yet, and can't wait to see the great friends that we stay in touch with on Facebook and know from the past! I agree with u on the theme nights. Last year we done glow night with white night it was great. They can get expensive too. Lingerie night....glow white night......black dress night.....school girl night These four would be plenty for me. Also have the Boobs Cruise too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Plus you need to pack light enough for room to take home souveniers and duty free alchohol. Always pack way too much stuff, and never end up wearing even half of it. Not doing that no more!
