We never really have had a problem meeting people our last 3 trips even with people partying in different parts of the pool. I think one thing that helps us when we meet someone from CCC we introduce them to everyone else in our group and by group I mean people we have known from past trips, sometimes they have already met and sometimes not. One conversation/connection can then turn into dozens in the course of a day. Just be friendly!!
I believe the flag usually stays up through the end of June or until the last of the Junkies are gone. We can contact Dawn and Curtis to see if they'll leave it for us and then Meig and I could take it home with us on the 30th....unless someone else who's leaving later wants to be responsible for getting it back to them?
Regardless, if you want to find fellow June Junkies (who look even vaguely like their picture and who want to be found), it's not hard at all. The place isn't that big, and everyone is mostly hanging around the same areas, all day, every day.
They had a banner last year. And it was tied up to the railing where the hot tub is. They took it down when they left. We don't need banners,flags or GPS to find people...if only we could remember names though lol.
