Hoping we will be flying home on the 20th as well...instead of the 19th. Shouldn't be a problem...just need to get all of the work details smoothed out.

We always try to get the earliest flight in and the latest flight out. Want to milk every last minute of vacation, sometimes not a good idea as the sports pool was still partying at 4am. So hung over when we had to check out all we could do was set in the lobby with a bad case of the DT's.

June 9-17th, so some of you better save up after that first nigh!

Flying on the weekend is always higher for some reason.

We are looking at June 6th to the 14th more then likely. Also will have people we meet at the beginning of June last year coming as well. Cant wait to meet all the new people and have an amazing time.

 

Gotcha...LOL. And I do remember the Ricky Henderson interviews back in the day!!!

 

we stayed in the pool till 4am once and had a 10am flight. It sucked. Sucked even worse that we had a connection in Atlanta. F that airport. Non stop from now on. Even sweeter that SW flys there for us now

 

We try to get to the resort as early as possible. I think our flight arrives in Cancun at about 9.30 am. We generally try to leave mid morning. Wake up, say goodbyes, and then hit the van to the airport. Like a band-aid; pull it quick.
One year we had a late departure, and while it was fun for the extra day at TTR; the whole time we spent knowing this was our final 4 hours, then final 2 hours, then this is the last hour, now we are down to 30 minutes. That was so hard and depressing.

We also try to time everything so we don't have to sit in the "waiting room of shame" just off the lobby area. That is the most depressing place anywhere. Everyone waiting to be taken away from TTR.
