1. What is happening at Temptation Resort & Spa Cancun?
Temptation Resort & Spa is taking it all off and putting on an all-new, sensual & chic outfit. The resort will undergo a multi-million dollar makeover, under the vision of world renowned creator of “sensual minimalism”, designer Karim Rashid. This transformation will refine and elevate the hotel’s original concept and will enhance the guest experience with the highest international hotel standards and a ground-breaking design complemented by a superior entertainment, gastronomic and accommodation offering.
2. What new features/facilities will be offered at the new Temptation Resort & Spa?
After its makeover, Temptation Resort & Spa –The Playground for Grown-Ups– will redefine Cancun’s skyline with a seven-story building that will stimulate guests with a sensual vibe throughout the entire property. It will have 430 unique guest rooms and suites, designed in Karim Rashid’s sensual minimalistic style, each offering a terrace or balcony with views of spectacular gardens or the breathtaking Caribbean Sea. Its new eccentric, lively guest areas will feature bright colors in Rashid’s style, and it will offer electrifying state-of-the-art shows. An exuberant pool will allow guests to thrive in the fun while another quiet one will be available for down time.

Temptation Resort & Spa’s eight restaurants, accounting for more than 15 cuisines, will provide for an indulgent culinary experience, including an aphrodisiac-themed restaurant to arouse guests’ appetites. Guests will be able to relish a 24-hour premium beverage service at five different bars to meet & mingle in a vigorous and exciting atmosphere. The property will also feature a pleasurable spa with a vast array of treatments to delight the senses and relax after a round at the pumping fitness center.

3. Will the new Temptation have a different concept?
Temptation Resort & Spa will continue to be the #1 adult-centric, superior all-inclusive resort in Cancun, with a topless-optional concept for people 21+. However, as a result of this unprecedented makeover –consisting of a ground-breaking design complemented by a superior entertainment, gastronomic and accommodation offering–, our concept will be refined and elevated to offer a guest experience in accordance to the highest international hotel standards to the chic, confident and free-spirited world traveler.

4. Who can we expect at Temptation Resort & Spa?
Temptation Resort & Spa will offer a vibrant and passion-infused environment for the chic, confident and free-spirited world traveler. Our guests at Temptation are outgoing, dynamic, expressive and look forward to living new, authentic experiences. This resort is the adult playground where guests are free to be themselves and have the vacation experience of a lifetime.

5. How long will the property be closed for its extreme makeover?
Temptation Resort & Spa’s makeover will begin on September 25th and will last until August 2017.

6. What if I currently have a reservation for the time period that Temptation is going to be closed?
The following details apply to direct reservations:
• Cancellation Policy: There will be NO PENALTY fee applied if you decide to cancel your reservation.
• Compensation Policy: Temptation Resort & Spa is pleased to offer an additional discount of 15% off on future bookings. This discount will be applied to the public rate at the time of booking. (Valid for travel January 2nd, 2018 – June 30th, 2018).
• Relocation Policy: If your reservation was made directly through our resort, we would be happy to relocate you. We will absorb any incurred fees for relocation; however, you must respect the same travel dates and same destination (Cancun).
• Rebooking Policy: If you would like to rebook your vacation utilizing your current deposit or payment, you may. We will grant you a 15% off discount off the public rate at the time of rebooking, and you will simply pay the difference between rates.

7. When will I be able to make a reservation for the new Temptation?

9. What will happen with the lifetime of my membership?
The lifetime will be extended for the same time as the resort remains under remodeling.

10. What are the new Temptation rates?
The rates are yet to be defined, however special and exclusive rates will be granted for Premier members.

11. Will the resort be shut down in sections?
No, the resort will be completely shut down and renovated.

12. Will the new Temptation have Premier members’ exclusive benefits?
Yes, they are yet to be defined.

13. What are the benefits of buying today a membership for the new Temptation?
Memberships for the new Temptation will be available for a reduced promotional price for a limited time.

14. The Exchange companies benefits will be available to use while Temptation is closed for renovations?
Yes, you will be able to travel to other destinations while we work on the renovations for the new Temptation.

 

We are going live large in June 2016 simply because I seriously think it will be our last visit to Temptation! We have seen the nightly rates for 5 star resorts and we cannot afford them. I seriously don't believe that Temptation has a 5 star location and I believe the owner is making a serious mistake.
We visit TTR twice a year because it is affordable fun. Gonna to be one helluva party in June 2016 though!!

Don't worry too much. A lot of the old garden view rooms are staying. The price for them will be more reasonable.

 

41 days! So glad we booked for June vs late fall now that it might be closed!

 

Okay...we just lost our minds and booked June 27-July 4th to get a trip in before the renovations! Time to start shopping...and looking forward to meeting everyone!
