At first thought I would be interested in GOV if it was just like TTR with slightly better accommodation, for slightly more money. But on second thought its not the accommodations that make TTR, its the people. So needless to say we are sticking with TTR... Plus GOV sounds more like a retirement home with each report. Not interested!
My while thought process on GOV was in '15 to spend a couple of days there at the end of our TTR trip to wind down...
Yeah we were up for a change of atmosphere (our last 7 trips have been to TTR). But with each GOV trip report I was reading, regardless of whether the couple had a good time or not I was starting to see a pattern that I didn't like. So we bailed when we got a great price to switch back. If we were to pay for a room upgrade to get away from the base motel 6 room then pay for a safe each day the price difference was a push. So we switched and have been at peace with it ever since.
