Is July and August a good time to go there? We have holidays in both months and havent decided where we are going. We like the idea of this side better that time of the year because of the weather and less likely to get a hurricane..

Not that I know of. We told Chinos that we were coming back in a few months and he didn't say anything but "great" Normally we go to Cancun in July and it is hot and humid. I would imagine Cabo is hot and dry. Thank god for the pool and the swim up bar Talina
