Laura, The best one to discuss the 50/50 plan is Dawn ($parkie7). She has planned that for years and would explain better than I ever could. Also, I would be willing to participate in that as well.

Punkinpie (newbies like us) just posted that their boob cruise crowd last week was lame. That's not going to be the case for our cruise is it folks????

We've been on "wild" boobs cruises and more quiet ones, and neither type is "lame." You just can't go in with any particular expectation. It's always a different group, so every cruise will be a little different. As for the 50/50 raffle, Dawn says they purchase a roll of double tickets and sell them around the pool for a few days, then on the last day they draw a winner and have ladies tuck the tip cash in their bikinis and let the bartenders pull it out with their teeth. I love the idea of a special tip for those guys, but I don't want people to feel hounded for money while they're on vacation. What are your thoughts?
I also have mixed feelings about the 50/50. I don't want people to feel like the have to participate, but maybe people would want to. The other issue is that many people pressure the participant winner to donate the money back to the charity...does that happen in this case? The other thing is, we always tip..... And that makes our service better(and they deserve it). If we aren't tipping... Because they don't know we are in the 50/50, how does that influence the service? We always participated in the 50/50 raffle during previous years. It was a lot of fun and the bartenders ate it up! We're undecided if we're going on the June 29th Boobs Cruise (the day before we leave) but we'll partcipate in the raffle if there is one while we're there. We're good either way (raffle or no raffle). We'll just go with the flow!
