Hi We're looking at a possible first trip in late July and having read TripAdvisor reports have a couple of queries: 1) What happens if the weather's really wet? Does it affect what happens that much? 2) Are we excluded from much not being premium members? Thanks for any advice!
It has rained a few times in our 8 trips. It wasn't lighting so many stayed in the pool. The entertainment stuff arranges some indoor games if it rains too long. It won't rain long in July if at all. We have a mixed travel crew, some bought time share some didn't...we never felt left out at all.
There is a small section of beach chairs, beds etc but you won't really notice. The action and fun is in the sexy pool so you will likely be in the pool anyway.
We were first timers last July, so really didn't know our way around. It rained our first morning there. We ended up sitting under cover at the pool bar, making new friends, playing (and winning!) sex trivia game, and drinking. The staff was working on "Plan B" when the sun came out. As for premium members - if we hadn't read about them on here, we wouldn't have known they even existed.
We were there in late July (and will be there again Jul 24-Aug 1, 2014) and it never rained.... so I don't know about that. The only thing I knew about the Premium Members advantage was they got better alcohol!! LOL (The liquor store wasn't far, so we got our premium alcohol and we were just fine!)
