well mate i stayed at both hotels was in cancun for 14 days i spent 7 days at the oasis and 7 at the Gran Caribe Real i gotta say the oasis is an older crowd but the f**kin security was such a hassle bringin girls back and making noise they were right on ur case. The Gran Caribe is loud ppl b screaming at all times of the night and day mostly 18yr old high school kids big groups of em 2 like 30 kids in groups cool but 2 young. Well secuirty wouldnt say anything keep me up most nights as ppl were coming home and all times of the night its close to like basic night club and u could actually walk into town if u were up 4 it but jump on a bus for 2 min.. But during the day u would wana b at the oasis if they got all that beach springbreak stuff still going on i was there during march 10th till like 24 th march so seen most of the action. The Gran Caribe just has a pool they have a net set up across the pool and they play games. Music was pumpin got decent food slow ass bar service and those maids love makin u up in da morning when u finally get 2 sleep. Both hotels have the security guards makin it hard to b bringin the girls home so u r fightin a losin battle..
i know ME is very nice, the premium room is actually great and very new. the thing is you hardly see any people, i mean any people in Me, you can have the whole pool all by yourself all afternoon and you dont see anyone at 3am in the morning besides the guard that opens the door for you.. basically, if you are looking for some quiet and very relaxing hotel, Me is way to go.
