Good point. I'm not familiar with Temptations, but far too many resorts are moving towards little lighting or more ambiance-type lighting - which makes it hard to do facial hair grooming or in your case, makeup and hair.

 

They do, I saw it in many other pictures

The fact that the cheeseburgers get a better review than the buffet is a bit concerning. @Jen&Kyle did you try out the buffet? I know you loved She, but how were the other eating options? Thanks.

 

Not in a "turns me on" kind of way, but I really like the shirtless guy playing the guitar and the girl in lingerie dancing at the restaurant. Seems entertaining while having dinner, and I love live music.

This makes me think back to some of the original concept pictures and there was a restaurant with a guy up on a small stage playing the sax. We all got a big laugh how stupid that seemed at TTR, but this concept, now made a reality, makes way more sense.

 

Yeah............that wouldn't be good at all. They seemed to have a pretty limited number of guests so it seems they might scale food choices back a little. The buffet has generally been pretty darn good and I would expect the same going forward!

 

Lighting was great in the tower room once we figured out how to work the main control console.

 

So we ate at the buffet for 2 breakfast and 2 lunch. They are correct that there are fewer choices than the old TTR. However, we found the quality to be better. We liked the old breakfast (pretty hard to mess that up) but never liked the lunch. We enjoyed the lunch buffet this time. They have several grills so it was easier than the old TTR to get omelets or eggs or tostadas (sp? Jen gets these, I don't) or mixed vegetables for a stir fry at lunch.

For breakfast I would get an omelet (no line) and the typical stuff...bacon, sausage, fruit, etc

For lunch I got lasagna, fresh fish (grouper I think), French fries, sesame chicken, fried rice, rotisserie chicken, sushi, fresh fruit, grilled chicken.

So it is all perspective. We are quality over quantity type people ha so we're happy
