Kyle, you made my day with the liquor pics. I saw Flor de Cana rum. Started drinking that at Desire and always bring some back. Thanks for all the information.
Jen suggested I share the soap and lotion product in the public restrooms. I told her the ccc readers wouldn't be interested but well that is the first pic followed by the ladies room that is in the buffet. Then we have the space under the sexy pool chairs that is good for storing stuff and keeping it off the wet ground. Followed by the view of the fall you would take if you were to slip over the 3 foot glass next to the jacuzzi which is raised on the master suite balcony. Then some twilight views from the master balcony. Just can't get over how amazing the view is and we were not even high up. Then I had been told the elevators would be done within a week so I went looking for them and this is what I found... And finally a pic of the Bash bar liquor.
They said it would be in a past online chat but have to take those with a grain of salt. I will say the pool water was cool the last few days. And not hot like the old sexy pool was. Definitely think it will get warmer w more people in it at capacity but hopeful the larger pool will stay cooler in the summer months when it used to get so hot. Hopeful for heating in the winter when it used to get too cold but don't know.
Looks like only the first floor has new furniture on the patios? Wonder if the rest are getting new chairs too? That elevator is a long long way from completion!
I sure hope it's heated, and yes, I saw them reply many times that it would be. If it's the center of the entertainment it would be crazy to not follow thru on that.
Thanks so much for taking the time to share your photos and answer our questions. Looking forward to the trip report!! The only thing I'm worried about for our trip in November is the tequila situation. Over the last 4 years, I've taken a liking to Milagro Silver (it has replaced Patron as my tequila of choice) and I can't tell from the pics if they will still offer it...I know they will have Don Julio but a girl likes what she likes
A few more Bash bar pics before going to dinner... The building of the TTR Apple DJ stage On our way into She restaurant. This is by the quiet pool in the spot of the old seafood restaurant. As mentioned earlier this is a couples only restaurant with only tables for 2 requiring reservations.
Kyle, what's your take on the big jacuzzi? It looks like a great location, and plenty big. Benefits/drawbacks? Also from some of the videos I watched, it sounds like they have a great sound system there.
In the questions thread someone requested pics of the menus. Here is She. Currently She is a fixed menu with 7 courses. They ask as you go thru the courses if you would like anything else but not sure what the 'else' was as we absolutely LOVED She so didn't ask for anything different than the fixed menu. In all our trips to TTR this was our favorite meal ever. I admit when I looked at the menu I wasn't thinking I would like much. But I was wrong. One of our biggest complaints about the old TTR was they didn't experiment much. We found the food ok but not exciting and usually bland to be frank. Our meal at She mixed interesting flavors and spices and had us both liking food items we never imagined liking. The manager informed us this menu isn't set and they plan to switch to 9 courses and suggest the fixed menu but also provide a la carte. They may make this switch as soon as this weekend. And as always the service was amazing. Dress was supposed to be slacks and collared shirt but we saw 2 gentlemen in nice shorts and a button down. Foie gras. One of my favorites of the 7 courses Uh oh. Can you tell they are already 'provoking irresistible sensations of pleasure'? A little into the meal a dancer came on the stage and a shirtless guitarist playing cool smooth rock. Was pretty neat I had this later. Yummy Duck. Another favorite. Mussel Salad
