Now the million dollar question. Did the building block the sun or create too much shade earlier in the day or was I close in my calculations that the bow in the building corrected for this?

Back home to reality. Sorry I wasn't in a beer mode these two days and forgot to check. Someone else will have to weigh in on this one.
So the first day it was sunny all day and I noticed that at some point between 4:15 and 4:30 a shadow started to creep across the pool from the new tower. It only hit the very center of the pool so each end still had sun. So it really wasn't an issue. I do wonder how it will be later in the year though when the sun is lower in the sky and more to the right if you are facing the tower. Possibly that will result in the shadows being at the end of the pool that is on the 1000 block / quiet pool side. That side already has an overhang to provide shade so possibly they thought this out.
Excellent.....we still have 3 of dj Karma's cds from perhaps 2010 or 2011, he really knew how to build the vibe up at the sexy pool into a hot, crescendo..the music that year was fantastic..!...Hopeful it will be as good or even better.
Prior to TTR opening we were at Desire Pearl for an EDM music festival. One of the Djs from there was brought in to headline the opening night. Dj Francesca from Italy. Crazy hot (have some pics coming) both physically and with the music. Mia, from the entertainment staff at Pearl, has also gotten into Dj'ing and is really good. Hoping they bring her over some more.
