We had to pack our whipped cream in the checked bags However we did manage to drink 2 Margaritas each before we got to the resort!
I think the Jello shots would be crap by the time the plane got off the ground. They might question it too. Who puts jello in the carry on unless they are full of booze. Gummy bears are easier.
I had 6 cans of whipped cream in my checked luggage as well as 2 bottles Sour Puss. Everything in zip locks just in case of a leak. Only thing I carried onto the plane was the gummy bears. I'm thinking the jello shots and whipped cream would be a no go for carry on.
JUST FOUND WHIPPED CREAM tonight I am pretty stinkin excited about that artyhorn: I am putting the whipped cream in my checked luggage - it's too expensive to take a risk with it... ~Jill~
I tried that with mixed results. I guess since the fridges are not that great and there is alcohol in the mix, the gelling process takes longer than at home which caused a few cases of leaking through the paper cups. This year I am getting 2 ounce plastic souffle cups.
YES! Lets do this, Kurt is basically a jello shot pro, time to up his game by making hotel room jello shots.
Every year I throw a big party and 2 things that we always make are Vodka Gummies and Jello Shooters. Start with 1 cup of hot water Mix in 1 regular pack of jello Add 3/4 cup of cold vodka and 1/4 cup of cold water Pour into your disposable shooter cups and refrigerate till solid Using only 3/4 cups of vodka per package of jello does make the shooters slightly weaker than normal, but then you don't get any of the vodka flavor and you get more shooters out of the same amount of vodka. As far as flavors go, we find that the lemon, lime and orange tend to be quite popular, but any flavor of jello will work just fine. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/391336/Photos/JelloShooters2012.jpg And I am totally down with making some shooters for the cruise!
Kristin and Doug... I can't believe we are going to miss you guys by two weeks.. We are going Aug 12th through 19th..
