Funny you asked about the bacon - I asked every time I ordered something "is there bacon in that?" - got some surprise yes answers so I guess the trick is, if you don't like something most people like, ask first to make sure - live and learn! I knew people would laugh out loud at the drops of love thing, but if you are using it as part of what you pay to upgrade the room, then it makes sense. I am annoyed that they didn't clarify that with us back in Oct. 2011 when we paid for the suite AND drops of love - but we did get most of that money refunded and it gave us negotiation power this last trip, so karma works everything out eventually. We will totally let you know the next time we are in Vancouver - would love to get together for a drink or something :xyxthumbs: You have to meet EdandSarah too - they are lots of fun and a little north of you! When we come up there, we should have a party in our hotel suite - there's the plan! You are lucky you missed that storm, it really sucked ass compared to our other three trips!! That kind of storm really screws up everything, where a little rain is not that big of deal.

Great report! Being a newbie it helps to read these reports. I think I should go to bed for the next 76 days so I can stay up for all the fun. Looking foward to the warm weather and no SNOW, which we are reported to get 12 to 14 inches Friday and yes i am talking about snow!
