Couples Negril is hands down the most amazing place I have ever stepped foot on. Been there twice and couples tower Isle once. Tower Isle is nice also, just not as good. All couples resorts are adults only with nude beaches. It is not fair to any other resorts we visit, because we will always compare it too couples negril. Can't put the place into words. Going to TTR for the first time in December. And even if it is only half as nice as negril, the trip we will be a success.
Don't waste your money on Sandals. We went in June and felt it was overpriced for what you get. We also went to Iberostar Montego Bay grand a few years ago. Loved it. Had a personal butler and you could use all the Iberostar resorts next door but we only used when we needed a drink walking down the beach. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We have been in Jamaica a couple of times and my favorite place is Grand Palladium in Lucea. The service was fantastic and there are three private beaches. One for adults only, one for families and one nude beach. Since the resort is on a peninsula you do not have the issues with people selling you items on any of the beaches.
We were there in 2012 and rented a private Villa and I highly recommend it. The Villa sits high on a hill in St. Mary’s Parish about an hour drive down the coast from Ocho Rios. Has in ground pool and personal driver who will pick you up from the airport and take you anywhere you want to go within a couple hours’ drive. (You just pay for gas) Also you have your very own cook who will prepare meals for you while you are there. They are such sweet people and it isn’t long before you have not only made friends but added new family. Been a few different area's in Jamaica. Negril holds my heart. But I'm dying to go to Port Antonio next.. Love beach area and cliffs in Negri. The cliffs are quiet and amazing.. Talk about a romantic vibe.. Check out Catch a Falling Star Beautiful property, and the restaurant is fantastic. Love it.. Not All Inclusive. But telling you. I also love Rockhouse, but that got super trendy. The villas are amazing, and again great restaurant.. Grand Lido and Couples are great All Inclusives on the beach.. Couples has better food and 2 properties.. One on Bloody Bay with a clothing optional section.. Grand Lido also has a CO area.. Couples Swept away is on the main beach, but no CO section.. All of Negril Beach is Topless. Sandals doesn't allow that though. So you would have to be topless on the water line, as that is "public". I have stayed at MANY places on the beach and cliffs. So if you have any questions PM me. Runaway Bay is a quiet area close to Ocho Rios. Nice, but not much around.. The thing about Runaway Bay and Ocho Rios is you can't walk the beach for miles. They are more like smaller coves.. Lucea is a nice little town mid way between Montego Bay and Negril.. Man made beaches, They stole the sand from Runaway Bay area. lol. Sandals was nice but bored the hell out of me.. lol.. Rius are nice, but kids.. I have a potty mouth when I drink.. Thus Couples and Grand Lido are favs on the beach for All Inclusive,
Been to Jamaica about 12 times. Favorite area is Negril. Favorite resort is Couples Negril. Amazing!!
Been to Negril a handful of times, once to a small place called Bar-B-Barn. Not all inclusive, but right next to a great club and had an amazing trip! Another time at a time share condo and that was just so so. After the last time, we never went back....So glad to have found TTR!
We go to Jamaica. We stay at Secrets and it is beautiful, fun, excellent food, good entertainment and top shelf liquor. We are going in February with 10 couples. Great resort.
We went to Couples Sans Souci 3 years ago and it was absolutely beautiful and very romantic. Totally different atmosphere than TTR though. at TTR there isn't really anything "amazing" scenery or resort wise but the party atmosphere is so fun. CSS is built into the cliffside in Ocho RIos and the grounds of the resort are incredible. Still had a blast there but just not as wild as TTR. Thinking of trying Desire Pearl because it sounds like that resort is somewhere in between CSS and TTR.
