We upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite one year. We loved the room and the view. It was right on the ocean (I think 1139 maybe) and a nice quiet place to recover. It was a looong stumble home from the action though.
We had one one year, but never got in it. It would depend mostly on what you'd like it for, and time of year you're going. In June, honestly too hot to go in, unless you're wanting it to have people over and break the ice. Then it's a good idea. We've got enough friends in our June Junkies group that get the jacuzzi rooms, so they can be fun if you're looking for fun, but an extra fee if you're looking to relax, just because with our group, I've never been there yet and got to relax. LOL!
Yes they do take 45 minutes to fill up and the water from the Hot tap was murky sometimes. Ive heard some of the suites ( not rooms) fill up with the shower head. The Jaccuzi suites have a huge balcony but but run over $1000 more a week. The Jacuzzi rooms are about 420 more a week, just make sure your going to use them for that $$. Bring some Aromatherapy oil for the tub and candles.
Our last trip they were overbooked on rooms and were putting the offer out for a transfer to their other resort. We were meeting friends at Temptation so refused. They offered us a jacuzzi suite but told us to check with them next day to see if they needed us to move to another room. I wasn't happy about that so just agreed cause was ready to party. So next day went and spoke to them and they said we could stay in the room if we payed upgrade. I just said no way. It wasn't my fault our room wasn't ready. The guy talked to his supervisor and she came over and apologized for everything and said we could stay in the room without paying upgrade. It was nice and fun. But I'm not sure I would pay upgrade cause we had more fun in the pool that's open late at night
Tons of great advice, still not sure what we're going to do, lol. We're booked in a jacuzzi suite for now but could still change it. I'm just so excited to have grown-up only trip anywhere that's not the House of Mouse, I don't care if I sleep on a bar stool! We have two little girls and we've been to Disney 6 times in 4 years, lol. Although I may have to get a naughty Belle outfit for this trip. She's my husband's favorite princess.
