My wife is also big into reading but that is the last thing on her mind at TTR. It's vacation and party time!
We did jacuzzi before and loved it. We like to party but like it quiet when we want to sleep. Was a good spot for that. We used it a lot in the evening or very late at night. Definitely is tight as mentioned above. We upgraded for 50 something a night upon arrival. Less than in advance but there is the risk it won't be available. We are visiting again in two weeks and upgraded in advance thru the hotel to drops of love for 100 a night.
Booked a jacuzzi suite last trip and was in it once. Love the quiet location. Booked again for our trip in April.
The jacuzzi suites look really nice and are in a great location. They are much nicer than the jacuzzi rooms.
We had jacuzzi room our first year. We were only there a couple of nights and they upgraded us for free. It was nice but kept filling up with cigarette buts from the people throwing them off the balcony above. We were both disgusted and never used it. I wouldn't pay extra for it.
Clarification Suites are Ocean front with tubs in the Bathroom Rooms are pool view with tubs on balcony
We loved having the jacuzzi rooms over two visits, and having one numbered between 1103-1120ish are the best locations, right along the side of the quiet pool and still close to the other pools, Paty O's and everything else without being too loud.
Always get Jacuzzi suite, bigger room and patio and depending on the location you can jump the patio wall for a run to the quiet pool bar
and you can hop over the wall and walk to the bar, get a bucket of ice and a few drinks and go right back to your room. They are fun to have, a little expense if you dont use them. It also might take 45 minutes to fill it up. From experience, you can get four people in them...
