We had a jacuzzi room last year for the first time and it was fantastic! We were upgraded for free and used the tub at least once a day. We've booked our trip already for March and were going to wait until we got to the resort to see if we could upgrade (even if it cost us), but we're afraid that there may not be a jacuzzi room available so I went in to my travel agent today and paid for our package to be upgraded. We enjoyed it so much we would hate to not have it. Also, we do prefer the quiet pool area and being on the first floor. D
They asked if we were interested. I said what is the price? They said $104 a night. I said I would do $44. They said how about $56 (or maybe it was $54 but u get the idea) and I said DEAL!!!! We got one of the ones without a pull down screen but at that price we were ecstatic!
Here's the absolute best way to get a deal on a jacuzzi room: Make friends with a couple who has one.
Are they really worth it? I'm undecided where to ask for a room this time as last time were were on the 1st floor directly above Margaritas crappy view and the restaurants air con outside our balcony. Would prefer sexy pool view but are they considered an upgrade?

Most people will also tell you the ocean view rooms are not worth the price either. We are going to try it out this time and see, save 300 bucks++ Save it for booze, or tips hehe. Or putting in my g-string!
