We have just come home from TTR, we had a Jaccuzi room, our advice..... Don't bother, we used it twice. And then each time there was a brown scum in the water, not nice.
We won't bother paying the extra money again, it's not worth it!!!!!!

We had ''dark'' brown water come out of the tap once too (hot water I presume)

I don't think the hot water is treated like the cold water, so don't drink it

Maybe it is just stale water sitting in old pipes for extended periods of time, because no one used it. If you ran it for a while, maybe it would go away.

The resort is sold out when ever I go, so water gets a lot of use.

    Probably just dirt

HMMM so about 50 per night for the jacuzzi rooms around the pool, and 75 for the Temptation suites, eh? Problem is, I guess, you risk not getting one upon arrival.

This is exactly the info I was looking for. Onilne we were pricing out the suites because I think we WOULD infact like the bigger balcony for parties and even simple things like having seating in your room - but at the same time the indoor tub is never as fun as the outdoor tub.
We never had an issue with brown water. Scum on the other hand, seems to be directly correlated with sunblock usage for us. LOL

We alway go in December so IMO, there are some colder nights were the jacuzzi comes in handy. The first time we went we were in our friend's jacuzzi every night, and the second time we went we were in our jacuzzi every night, and even sometimes during the day with friends. At this point I would be unhappy with a regular room. #SpoiledNow :)
