Poutines are the absolute best, you can go into a KFC, Mcdonalds, whatever and have your fries done that way. Awesome hangover food.

I've eaten a lot of stuff in my day....
cheese fries, fries with gravy included.

but this cheese curd thing... sounds nasty, looks nasty, must be nasty.

They can keep it up there.

Montreal in particular is known worldwide for having sumptuous five-star restaurants that effortlessly combine old-world charm and new-world innovation. But Quebec’s staple dish is known as “poutine,” an artery-clogging plate of slop that takes years off your life with every irresistible bite.

Perhaps best described as a “heart attack in a bowl,” poutine is a meal consisting of French fries topped with cheese curds that are generously covered with dripping hot gravy.

Once just a fast-food staple, this fatty dish can now be found in Montreal’s finer restaurants, smothered in goat cheese, camembert, stilton, and yes, even foie gras.

Went to montreal last may and had a great time. Last time I went was around ten yrs before that. What a nice city. Reminds me alot of new york. And a little of boston- my home. My friends all tell me that toronto is huge compared to montreal. Trying to talk me friends into going to toronto for new years.

Toronto is the 5th most populated city in North America.

    1 - Mexico City 8589600 pop
    2 - New York 8103700 pop
    3 - Los Angeles 3805400 pop
    4 - Chicago 2934900 pop
    5 - Toronto 2571400 pop
    25- Montrea 1038600 pop
    49- Boston 597700 pop

    * Boston has a massive Urban Area, which is almost equal to the population of the greater Tonto area... as a city on it's own, Boston has a very low population.
