my wife brings a beach bag that we keep tip money sunscreen sandals and what ever else in. We have never had any thing stolen. Had to retrieve my bubba mug and sun glasses from lost and found once because we left the pool a little late and had other things on my mind though. Agree with others about the phone. It mostly stays in the room. We check our e-mail once a day. Anyone who would need to notify us of an emergency or something knows that's the only way t0 get a hold of us that week.
Echoing what most of the feedback is. We brought a small bag that we stored our phones, room keys, tip money, etc in. Left it on the ground with all our friends stuff in the same section of chairs (not ours necessarily). We never have had an issue in 3 trips with anything coming up missing.
@Jen&Kyle ...Kyle you should hang a sign around your neck stating “will trade MY sandals for YOUR wife”! Guess is that if you wear nice sandals you will be in business! Oh and yes, BC has lost and found, mainly lost badket too! It is much used. @Steve hasn’t had to purchase sandals for years...lol!
Tip bartenders well a cpl times a day leave phones in safe no need to carry anything but drinks,,,,, (.Y.)
In my defence Kyle's sandals were almost identical to mine both in appearance and size, and someone else must have took mine. An easy mistake to make after the Boobs Cruise!
Thanks, everyone! I appreciate all the tips. Sounds like normal beach protocol. And I'll bring super ugly sandals, so I can avoid the "flip-flop felon" as I've mentally dubbed him. lol
Smokes, Lighter, Room key, my wife will bring a shawl, and perhaps something to cover up in more than this but not much else...On occasion a camera. I like to do my pictures in the morning, very early when there is little to no people. Out of respect. On occasion my phone, but honestly the real world can fuck off when I am on vacation. I get 51 weeks of them, this is MY WEEK. As for stealing, never an issue with our group that we have seen so far (February shit show). We even share chairs and space! I put all our stuff, including my sandals under another members chair, and we share like adults and protect each others things and space.
