Yes... after missing my friday connection from fort lauderdale to cancun due to weather or whatever bullsh*t Spirit Airlines was feeding me... not getting my luggage in fort lauderdale... hitting the seminole hard rock casino friday night... then sleeping on the floor of fort lauderdale airport.. catching a standby flight saturday morning to cancun only to find that my luggage was still lost in either New York, Fort Lauderdale or Cancun... I did get to my hotel sometime Saturday afternoon. Luggage showed up on Monday. I'm glad there's a walmart in Cancun. I'll write more later, but thank you to everyone that had to listen to my angry venting while I sat in airports... especially the lovely Carole who made sure I had options if Spirit didn't have a flight for me... I had a blast meeting everyone in Cancun, I have a bit of a plague as a souvenir... as usual. Dan has most of the pictures so I'll defer to him. Cancun has obviously come back a lot more since even last year.. except for the beach which took another beating this past hurricane season. I'm going to take a nap....
It was definitely on. The plague has attacked me also. I shall get pics up for everyone's viewing pleasure as soon as I'm feeling a bit better.
I think the plague hit alot of us pretty hard. I've been feeling it for 3 days now and my nightmare of a trip home didn't help. I will try to post some pics and a TR tomorrow sometime. Just not feeling up to sittin in front of a pc for any extended period of time atm. Was nice to meet everyone and I'm afraid this will be my last SB! I will leave next year up to all of you other crazy people. TR and pics to come soon...

I didn't get the plague this year, last time I did, maybe I wasn't there long enough. I have to put off a house even longer now by the looks so I can finish my trip next year. So so sorry I didn't get to meet anyone except Mick which was just sheer luck anyway. Hope everyone had as good a time as I did for 3 nights just longer.
Nice meeting you, Dennis... I have the plague too.. I go to the Doctor tomorrow.. Think I have either the Flu, or Phneumonia.. Forgive spelling, cause have no clue if I spelled that right lol.. I also have an ear infection, runny nose, and soar throat.. Plague has me good this year, but I wouldn't change a thing lol..

haha... good man. I only had to sit on the plane on the runway in fort lauderdale for 2 extra hours before takeoff for NY... ugh... I believe the reason for my plague is as follows: Thursday aka 'day before I left Cancun': Went to Oasis at 1pm with Dan. Started drinking vodka and pineapple juice immediately. Joe showed me the bartender with the Smirnoff bottle. Bartender proceeded to initiate my double fisted status. Bartender ran out of Smirnoff, I switched to double pina coladas with Bacardi Anejo Proceeded to drink for 2-3 more hours with CC crew around the Oasis Pool. CCers say they are going on the Student City booze cruise. Dan and I sign up for said booze cruise and hop on the bus with the rest. Get to the Fat Tuesdays dock and buy a 6-pack. Get on Cruise and double fist tequila sunrises until reaching Isla Mujeres. Eat rice and pasta at the buffet per Andrew's advise/warning. Proceed to Cuban cigar man with Shauny. Went to the bar only to find out that they have no juices, only soda. Do at least one tequila slammer shot. Commence drinking vodka and sprite. Drink many vodka and sprite drinks while dancing/watching contests/studying nature Get back on boat and get two tequila sunrises. I helped the bartender fill the big dispenser of pre-mixed tequila sunrise stuff. The bartender then gave me 3 drinks with tequila floaters. Drink until reaching the dock again. Get on bus, head back to hotel around 11:30/midnight. Decide to see who actually went to Slices after the cruise. Get back on bus to Slices. Proceed to find Cindy B and Charmaine in line for Dady O. Kiss/hug/woohoo Head to slices to find Joe and Derek and BC and Tips BC and Tips head to Dady O Drink and dance with Derek and Joe and assorted ladies. Finally decide around 2:30/3am to go to Taco Factory with Joe/Derek/randoms from Purdue University Eat 2 tacos and 1 quesadilla and drink part of Joe's Long Island Iced Tea. Cindy/Charmaine/BC/Tips arrive for drunken eats. Said goodbye to the group and headed for the bus around 3:30/4am Got picked up for the airport at 8:30am Plague. hahahaha
