It seems the airlines have mostly canceled Cancun for May

Just called Delta, couldnt see if our flight still had seats on line so I freaked out and called them, no problem the flight is still over half booked, hope it stays that way! They had 8 flights still available for the 13th from Atlanta and Mempis, flight cost went up 12 dollars each over night. Terry

 

Just called United... they said the flight wouldn't fly so I cancelled that reservation and just bought through USAir so I'm good to go.

Now I can go get my heart worked on in peace. :wink:

Actually because of the medical procedure I need to go through in the morning I'm leaving on the 10th instead, so I have 5 days and a wak-up.

Becasue I'm a very open person and told my co-workers where I was planning on going. Didn't realize I had to sneak around to go on vacation

 

Got an e-mail from American and they changed our flights. :evil:

The flights we were on are no more. We travel the same days, yet we have a 5 hour layover in Dallas going and a 3 hour coming back.

We now get in to Cancun at 7:10 PM. Going to miss most of the day.

The original flights had less than 10 available seats on Sunday. The changed flights are booked solid. I could do some changing yet I would have to go from Dallas to Miami. That is not going to happen.

On a positive note, we are still going.

AA did the same to us. Fortunaty they had an earlier flight out of phoenix so we could catch an earlier flight frm Dallas to Cancun. So we get there 2 hours earlier on Saturday !!

 

At least you are still going to get there. Terminal D at DFW is the nicest one to be stuck in. I have been stuck in some crappy airports before.

 

That sinks, but at least you are still going! I hope we see you around the bar next Wed night. Terry
