I just received the newest (2015/2016 edition) of Mapchick's Isla Mujeres Maps, and these are the ferry times listed for El Embarcadero, which is the dock closest to TTR: Departing for Isla: -9:15 am, 10:30 am, 11:45 am; 1 pm, 2:15 pm, and 4:30 pm Returning to El Embarcadero: -9:45 am, 11 am; 1:30 pm, 4 pm, and 5:15 pm. Round trip is $19 US. We have done this day trip several times, and it is very easy to go to the beach at TTR and turn right, it is only a 10-15 minute walk. Give yourself a little extra time, or you'll have to wait an hour and a half for the next ferry. Good job on the report I would like to add. Bobby & I have been there several times and we enjoy it. We always bring cash & credit. We had one time where the restaurant could not take credit cards as their machine was down and required cash. The cash USD, can also work when haggling and offered a better deal. Some of them preferred it. It just depends on the day.lol
Hi All, this year instead of Temptation we will be staying a week on the island. We arrive on May 8th and are there thru the 14th. If anybody wants to get together for lunch and drinks just let me know.
