We go every year , go early ,rent the golf cart 100 for the day or moped 50 for the day go to the end of the island walk around the cliffs , costs about 4$ each have lunch there good food & drinks , don't forget to go up the lighthouse ! Then jump back in your cart and keep going around the island you will see unreal houses then some getto and awesome views ... You have to stop for drinks at a place ,can't remember name but it has a sign out side that says beer so cold it will hurt your teeth . It is ..one of the best places owned by a couple from the states it's also a bed & breakfast ... Nice place ! Then keep going around bar hopping take your cart back and walk the town shops bars lots of great food every where the beach for fish etc .there are a lot of small hotels and if you can get one do it the night the whole shopping area turns into a out side restaurant it's .. Wow if not jump on the last ferry at 12 pm and party on at TTR !we stayed on the island for 4 or 5 days awesome !
yes, you need at lest 1 driver's lic, also their are lots of places to stop to eat and the beaches are real nice. it's alot of fun just driving around trying to find your way and exploring.
We rented golf carts a few years ago on one of Steve's Boobs Cruises and had an amazing time. We stopped at a bar or two for beers to go and stopped at a beach as well. We're staying 12 days this May, so we might take a day to do this on our own.
When we rented our golf cart they wanted my drivers license but I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there, so the guy took our room key instead They just want to ensure you come back.
