Last year we visited Isla Mujeres for the first time on our Boobs Cruise stop. I could tell it would be a place we'd want to come again, you can just tell by the atmosphere it was an awesome place.

This is a long shot however - since we only had an hour, we went to the closest bar to sit on the beach and have a drink (Brisas Grill). A table next to us had a huge plate of fish. One of the outgoing members of our party asked them where they got it. They said they had caught it out fishing that morning, and Brisas grilled it up for them when they got back. They offered us some because they had a huge amount and it was amazing. We'd really like to duplicate that experience (not the hand outs, but catching our own barracuda lol). Would anyone know how we'd find out if Brisas works with a certain fishing company? We posted this in another thread as well, but thought this would also be a good one to try.

Most restaurants will cook up a fish you have caught (for a small price) they don't need to be tied to any fishing operator. Temptation will do this too.

We make it a point to stop at Isla Mujeres once each trip. It is an amazing time! Rent a golf cart and explore the island! There are some great restraunts off the main strip where the boat lands, the sights are breath taking and a very relaxing day! Enjoy it!!!

It took us 4 trips to make it over to Isla..........now that Steve is going to cruise into tow there we truly suggest that you get over there for a day full of exploring on your own. We ate whores for silver jewelry and fish tacos with ice cold beer? Can't remember the name of the place but..............OMG !
