I work at the large resort right beside the ferry. ..looking at Isla as I type this! Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
At first when i was reading this I was confused, everyone was saying they take a left. When we went we took a right and walked down the beach. So I think everyone is talking about going on the front side of TTR and going left. Either way you will get there and find it im sure. The walk down the beach is probably a longer walk I assume, but it was a nice walk. We got on yellow boat. It is a decent little excursion for something a little different to do.
We take a ferry from Puerto Juarez and rent a golf cart. Our first stop is Na Balam the best home made margaritas. The food is awesome. Our goal is to hit every little bar as possible. Head down to North beach. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. We drive back and return the golf cart. There is a little restaurant where we always stop order fish beers chips and salsa and listen to mariach band with our toes in the sand. When this wonderful day is done we take the ferry back to Cancun.
We love Isla but one year we decided to go onto the beach at Pointe Norte? Ordered a marguerite at a beach bar. It totally tasted like kerosene!:ernaehrung023:
We are staying on Isla for 10 nights in April and coming to TTR during the middle of the trip to live it up a little (plus I want to see my beautiful wife in her new Malibustring panties around the pool :cool014::mnm. Yeah just go out to the road and go left out of TTR. Its a 15 minute walk to Embarcadero, thats how we get to TTR from Isla and back. It is $19US RT. I think the first leaving ferry is at 10am and last one back to Embarcadero is at 5:30. Don't pay for a tour, unless its the Boobs Cruise. It you don't go by BC then just go on you're own. Lots of restaurants and bars to chose from. Have fun.
We only go to Isla when we eat lunch on the Boobs Cruise. Otherwise, we personally have no Desire to leave the resort. That's just us though.
Hey guys, we don't stay at any the resorts or hotels there. We stay at a little studio apartment that sits on airport road just south of the airstrip. Its right on the beach (even though its rocky), beautiful views. Has a small pool. PM me for more info if you like.
Arriving April 30 thru May 7th. Plan on spending one day at Isla Mujeres. Maybe have another person couple tag along?
