Think we caught one of the first ferry's to depart and ended up coming back on one of the last to depart not sure if that answers your question for you or not. Just so you know we too had planned on going over "for a few hours" that trip. We had so much fun we lost track of time, and for the most part of that trip it was she and I in that golf cart on a tour of the island and just enjoying each other. I reccomend doing the trip over to the island but don't limit your time there although you might miss something at the sexy pool that won't ever be repeated chances are there'll be something that won't ever be repeated at the sexy pool the next day.
Is that the schedule for the ferry by the pirate ship? I thought the last one back was around 5:00 pm.
Hey guys, I did a search, but couldn't find the answer I was looking for. I read on here before there is like an adventure park in Isla with zip lines and other stuff like does anyone know the name?
We did it a couple years ago with the kids. Dolphin discovery is there, and the park is garrafon ( not exactly sure on spelling). Be warned, you only get to go once on the zip line. Was waaay oversold as an e citing place.
Hmmm thanks. I actually found that place, but it looked different to something I found before over there. But I might have been getting it confused with something else that is better in Playa. I appreciate the reply
I hate to ask these questions since I've taken the ferry over about 4-5 times over the years....so I should know. Last time we snuck into a "local bar", thought we would get some cheap drinks and a fun vibe. Cost us about $4 a beer, but didn't ask up front. The day clubs were nice, but a little expensive too. So the question, where can you find cheap food and drinks at a local place on Isla? Ice bar sounds cool. Also, I was leery about getting beer and riding around in the golf cart drinking it. Anyone have problems doing that?
It is my understanding that drinking while driving is frowned upon. We didn't drink simultaneously while driving but we did drive after we drank. As for cheap drinks and eats, we followed the mapchick guide and found places like the Joint that offered 4 beers, fresh guac and chips for 100 pesos - that was back in 2013 though so the price may have gone up.
Boobs Cruise is the best way to get there and back. Party, booze and eye candy included. Kids and boring people are not included.
