ya if you walk the streets inland like 2-5 blocks theres a few different small mom and pop rental spots that have way nicer carts for the same price..on the weekends go early we've been there when all the cart rental places are sold out

 

Well yes they ask you for your Drivers license and hold onto it. Which I didn't feel comfortable leaving with them. They told us they needed it to ensure you would come back as a security measure. When I expressed my concern about leaving it there the guy said he would take our hotel key instead. So not really sure you truly require a drivers license to rent a scooter or golf cart there.

 

I have an expired drivers license that I give them. They never noticed it was expired.

 

That's an excellent idea.
