Sorry, but no way was the relative humidity and temp both at 100. It might feel like that, though.

I think as a Canadian who is used to 22C with 30% humidity in July I may legit die in Mexico in July. Y’all making me nervous.

August and September are actually hotter months. Humidity is always high for people from Canada or low humidity climates. July is a great month.

The temperature changes more in one day where we are from than it does in a year in Cancun. There is no bad time of year in Cancun. I would worry more about the rainy time of year than the hot time of year. Many weather sites can show you monthly averages for rain and heat.

We used to live in Pearland (Shadow Creek Ranch) and I can 100% agree with you that some of the hottest days in Cancun are still not as hot or humid as some days are in Houston, lol!

We are from Vancouver and used to summers being about 22 to 26 degrees Celsius with low humidity, but we had no problem with the July heat last year. You won't want to lie on a lounger on the deck without being under an umbrella, and Bash was a bit warm some nights, but stay in the pool in the daytime and wear little at night and it's perfectly enjoyable. At night, if you walk out to the edge of Bash overlooking the Sexy Pool, it is cooler. Temperature in the daytime is more comfortable at Sky 3.5 than at the Sexy Pool, as it is always windy up there, and the bar area is entirely shaded. Definitely a good idea to make use of Sky 3.5 in the hotter months.

We are booking for July this year.

As they say “you won’t know until you go”.

July 9 - 16 for us. We head over to Desire Pearl for 3 nights as you arrive.

Will be sure the sexy pool bar is restocked before we leave TTR for ya.
