I say better safe than sorry. Don't drink it. If it is so safe why was it brown when it came out of our tap 2 days after we got there?
I drink glass after glass of water from the sink in the room all week. The old advice not to drink the water in Mexico comes into play when you're outside the resort. TTR's water purification system does just what it's designed to do. My favorite thing to hear around the Sexy Pool from someone who pounded alcohol for hours in the sun and then closed up Paty O's the prior day is that they were under the weather due to a contaminated ice cube. Yeah...I'm sure that's what did it.
