The board has seemed really patchy the last couple of days. Sometimes taking an age to load a page and sometimes as fast as usual.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

yup and it makes me log back in as well on occasion. Might be time to run that upgrade you mentioned a few weeks ago.

Up and down for me too. It's making me login directly sometimes, not other times.

And it's not indexing read vs. new posts correctly.

Thanks, will have a word Monday when the decent techs get in rather than the weekend staff.

The issue is definitely server resources not the forum software so I'm not sure why the log in problems or indexing read or new posts are occurring. From past issues I know that on occasion the forum is subject to malicious attacks from time to time which attempt to overload the server, possibly that is going on again.

Dos equis fan, the changes I mentioned a while back are not really an upgrade it is switching to a whole different system and not something I can do easily or without a lot of thought and planning. That said I really ought to think about it some more.
