    Exactly! Time moves on and you cant just stick with the old way even if it has worked successfully for years. You have to future proof and ensure it is going to continue working successfully for the next 5-10 years.

    A similar analogy is this very forum. We moved to the new format because the previous one was tired and old, the software wasn't being updated and it wouldn't be long before it became counter productive due to being out of date and not up to current standards.

    Many people were familiar with the old system and some of them have been put off by the new, but there is a whole new userbase who never knew the old, and that is where we need to go. But it takes time, the key is knowing when to make the switch.

    "prophetic" :)

    With prices as advertised it should be clear that TTR is looking for a different clientele. Am I Wrong? What has always made TTR great is the people that vacation there. If that changes significantly TTR will die......or another resort will pick up the vibe.

    But your "upgrade" and remodel didnt include doubling of rates. :) :)

    Yeah, a remodel was in order for TTR. It needed work. But Im not sure that pricing out a lot the people who helped make you rich is the way to go. Thats kinda like saying, "thanks for the loyalty over the years, but we dont need you anymore".

    Such is the world of big business. :)

    As always, it depends. Time of year, soft opening or not etc. Looking like around the $250 mark for soft opening and low season, rising to $500+ for Christmas and New Year, then settling out at $350+ for high season and fully operational in early 2018.
