Yeah you will find that most families don't choose spring break to take thier youngesat kids to Cancun, but then some families don't care about Spring Break and they go either way. But as per your hotel choice. Anywhere you go you willh ave fun really. Once you get to the clubs and the bars, now that is where the fun happens!
Here is my humble opinion: I think the Oasis has seen better days. I was booked to go there, and am quite glad we did not stay there in the end. We went for dinner there the day after it rained, and there were tons of huge puddles of water throughtout the resort (inside) - we passed through building 1 I believe, and people were getting water into their rooms, but yet they could not take a shower when they wanted, because there was no running water in their bathrooms....Also, we met a few that got 150$ refund from the wholeseller, because of this. I do have to say that the food and drinks were fine though. Also, they were building a new story...and they are FAR from being done. This means construction noises very early in the morning. Not good either.
Oasis Cancun Gran Caribe Real Krystal Cancun Oasis Palm Beach Spa & Resort Carisa Y Palma Dos Playas Salvia Imperial Laguna Sotavento (formerly Aquasol Club) Girasol Cancun Grand Royal Lagoon Cancun Plaza Oasis America Imperial Las Perlas Maria De Lourdes is a lst of all the hotels that student city is booking. so if youre lookign for spring breakers, then these are probably your top choices. they are listed by price i think the last being the cheapest. and some are condos.
Thanks for the info Curvster... And yeah that list is a list of all very good hotels in cancun Take your pick really at any of them. The Oasis has just be branded the party hotel. But that doesn't mean others arent'.. I am sure it's packed and loads of fun at the Oasis..Just use your own judgement people
i like looking on TA for the candid travelers photos.. i dont pay much attention to the reviews.. but the pics are nice to look at
Well I think with Trip Advisor you get some real complainers about stupid things. I know several of the hotels I myself have been to in the past have gotten bad reviews, and when I read I am thinking "Where are they getting that bad info from?" Cause I have been there and seen it for myself. People complain about the hard beds, the water wasn't hard enough, noone spoke english......These to me a minor and such silly things to fault a hotel for I like the ones that can show pictures and stuff
Yeah, I agree, you just have to take everything into perspective. But trip advisor does let you post pics, and it lets you know the age of the people who are posting and who they were traveling with, ie young children, elderly, family, alone, etc.
