Well most goverments will award a pre set amount for a year of wrong fulinprisonment.. Look at those guys who were wrongfully jailed for over 20 years, and they are to recieve 101 million between four of them??
It should only cost you 45.00 USD to copyright anything. You can submit an application with your materials and if approved you get a certificate of registration. If you don't mind...what are you working on and I can most likely get you the right forms.
Oh thank you Bridget, that is very sweet of you. Well, I taught my 4 yo boy some U.S. geography. I drew my own map and used some simple toys to associate his learning of geography. He can't read very good yet, but he can pinpoint any state in the continental U.S. as well as some provinces in Canada and Mexico. I thought I could make a good educational toy/game for kids his age to learn. I started my research and found that some things you can't copyright because there are similar games already (Some idiot beat me to the idea), and even though they are not the same as what I used to teach my boy, they might reject it. I will continue my research and hope I can help educate our kids, and hopefully make a few bucks to put my brain to work some more. Btw, it took us 5 days to learn all the states (including me, because I had forgoten where half of them were).
