Welcome.. Nah sometimes if you wait till closer to the date you might get a great last minute price...But sometimes they also raise the prices...Just do some research and compare prices before booking
Hi, Booked accommodation a while ago but I looked where I booked it throught on the weekend and it's a tiny bit cheaper now coz of the dollar. Only booked flights about 2 weeks back so you should be alright still. Cheers,
From my experience for plane tickets, its usually good price early, bad price a month before. Then weeks before your trip you might catch some last min deals where it is the cheapest. As far as hotels, they get more expensive closer to your trip date and sometimes completely booked and not available.
Well that is the chance to take booking last minute...Or sometimes you gt lucky and with the demand they add more flights. But even with more flights doesn't mean a th ing when the hotel you want is bookd...
Hi, Booked flights through travel agents but on Qantas accommodation through escape travel/octopus travel. Last time I went to cancun I booked through Lastminute.com.au and i've booked my LA accommodation this year with expedia. Just shop around to try to find the best price for the hotel you want, that's all I do. One place I found was news.com.au, they have a travel section and if you can work their search out (it's a bit screwed at the moment) their site searches HEAPS of other sites prices for you and then you can click through to the site with the best price and book there.
