For those in Southern Ontario, check out flying out of Buffalo. Generally our airfares are way cheaper than flying out of Toronto. At any given time the flights from Buffalo have anywhere from 40-70% Canadians in the seats. It can't hurt to look.

I just asked Uncle Google...search Orbitz Promo Code and you'll get a dozen links or more. Just sort through what comes up for a "flight plus hotel" code. The $175 code ended Jan 15th I think, but I believe you'll find one for $150 that's valid. :xyxthumbs:

Donald, the airport is north of the snowbelt and usually doesn't get hammered like we can get down here in ski country. I had a guy from Toronto next to me on one flight. He said if he would fly out of Pearson to West Palm Beach, it was $1,230 while it was $230 from Buffalo. What a lot of them will do is to catch the 5:30 AM flights out and come down the night before and stay in a local hotel which allows you to leave your car there so the hotel stay is pretty much free with the parking.

My percentages, by the way, are the percentages of flyers out of Buffalo that are Canadian, not necessarily the savings by flying out of here. Traditionally it is much cheaper flying out of Buffalo if you are flying anywhere in the US than by flying out of Canada.

For our trip in May, we paid just under $1100 per person for 7 nights and direct flights both ways on Expedia. They also have the best trip insurance, in my opinion. Expedia has a code for $100 off: TRIP100
