We do Thursday-Monday each year (5 days) and specifically get flights that get in fairly early on Thursday and leave fairly late on Monday. Always would love a few more, but it gets us through the winter.
I agree, after trips of 7 days and 8 days for years and years, I finally went on a 10 day trip two years ago, and that is by far the best amount of days to go... you get to see the group thats there when you get there and then an entire new group, plus once you figure in the travel days and the night before you leave , 10 days 9 nights gives you the most bang for you buck... sometimes literally ha ha ha
We normally go for 10 days, and this year we are going for 11, can't wait I want to win the lottery so we can go for how ever long we want
We went to D.R. last year for 14 days and are doing the same at Temptations. The first three days we had rain and were only ready to leave on the 14th day!:aetsch004:
Our 2nd trip was 4 nights. 3rd was 8. This one will be 6. 1st was 7. Don't go 5... If you dollar cost average it out it is less expensive per night to stay longer. Stay longer. We are only staying 6 this trip because of work, otherwise we would just move in.
We are planning a trip in May for the Mr's Birthday and our anniversary. We are staying at temptations for 5-8 days then off to our Favorite, the Golden Parnassus for the last 4 days.
Why is the Golden Parnassus your favorite, everyone on hear talks so much about TTR, why do you prefer the other?
