This is interesting because people have ALWAYS knocked on and made fun of the president. It was never political or partisan. It was something we as Americans enjoyed, as we didn’t live under a dictator that killed people for criticizing. There is even a yearly roast session, the White House correspondence dinner until Trump broke with tradition on that. I think it has something to do with Obama. Since he was colloquially refereed to as the cool president. He received the least amount jokes throw his way Now we have Trump, and for some reason his supports have developed the same thin skin as him. Trump is our crisis manager during the corona virus. His actions and decisions have everything g to do with the topic of this thread.

He does decide when to lock down non essential travel (vacations) or open it back up. His decisions have an impact on how efficiently or inefficiently the spread is mitigated. Those are just two things he has control over and they have impacted my trip in April.
Agreed, but I think we can talk about US policy and developments without the Lysol jokes and personal digs that folks know will rile up the other side. I like to think this forum is a discussion level above Facebook.
I don’t see things from a side perspective, but I do agree they should have their ‘safe place’ and ‘no trigger zone.’ I encourage we keep this forum that medium.
Safe places are all taken by the progressives. They have support ponies and puppies and have hoarded all the coloring books and crayons.
