It's my understanding that Chinos is back as long as he doesn't piss off the GM and keeps his nose clean. Chinos is one of the best entertainers I have ever met give his ability to understand the customer and provide them exactly what they are looking for. Sometimes he carries over the last customer's needs onto the next and seems to go a little too far for some. He goes with the majority, looking to give them what they want and has stepped on some toes of the minority in the process. In the next couple of months I think he's going to have some tough times in switching from what he wants to deliver to the customer and what the current GM wants to deliver to the customer. Sometimes what the GM wants is not what the current customer in Chinos face is going to want and that's where it's going to be tough for Chinos. The reason for the long explanation is - well if Chinos seems reluctant to do something the "old" way, please don't push it. There is a reason. Pushing will either just piss you off or cost Chinos his job if he gives in. As with any employee at Temptation, getting them to bend a rule here or there for you can be very costly for them in the long run. With all the Captains and camera's around, trust me, they don't get away with very much before they will get busted and fired. If they do something for you, accept it, thank them for it, and otherwise keep your mouth shut. :wink: So here's to Chinos being around for a while. Jamie

Jamie, I had chatted with someone at the resort and they said basically the same thing...It will be good to see Chinos when we go next month, and hope it works out so he can stay there. Just my opinion....the resort will be much better of with him than it was without him, even if he has to tone it down some he is still the best the resort has to offer....(sounds to me like they may finally be realizing that)
I remember watching a interview with Johnny Carson, one of my all time favorites, where he was talking about approacing a guest on the Tonight Show. He said the best sucess in show business he had was the ability to bring the best that you can out of your guest, that is what people want to see and that's what drives the ratings. Same goes for Chinos. He's just one of those naturally funny guys that was born with the gift of providing hilarity, much like Steve Martin, or Redd Foxx. It's got to be a difficilt job dealing with drunks day in and day out, and making the best of It. He gets a real kick out of some of the crazy shit some folks do when they're there. If i'm not mistaken, he was in high demand years ago, and flew all over the Carribean and the west coast of Mexico to train entertainment staffs at new resorts. He's also not afraid to help behind the bar when the're buzy. Old school, and one of the many great staff members of this resort!
the man is a freak not funny at all obnoxious rude and has many bad jailhouse tatoos if he is back it will be another downfall for this resort
Watching him at the resort at 7:30 am is a treat. All smiles, and ripping off one-liner after another to everyone he sees. I wish I could hire a dozen like him for my staff.

If you don't like the guy, then don't go to TTR, most people don't want to hear you whine! The simple fact is he is good at what he does, brings people back, and is friends with alot of the repeaters, including myself May I reccomend the Golden Parnassus?
sounds like someone has been drinking the Haterade from big gallon jugs. Chinos is one of the biggest reasons a lot of people come back to TTR. The dude is funny as all hell and get's the party going. Something tells me you have a more personal issue with the guy.
