Hi, Im traveling first time to Cancun, the people on this forum have been of a great help to me and I want to firstly say thank you, My question is will 5,700 Pesos be enough for me in cancun for a week all inclusive? I am staying in the Hotel Dos Playas but I wish to visit walmart and Market 28 by bus and mabie return to the Hotel via Taxi, I also want to eat in some steak chicken restaurants near by daily and visit the nice areas of the beach like Playas Defines, I also would love to check out Coco Bongo just to see it as everyone told me to do so. So that is all I plan on doing, I dont drink alcohol and I Dont smoke, Im 25 and from England UK and coming on my own, I wish to also may I add buy small souviners like tshirts, hats, pens, etc.. nothing too expensive, and I have money separate for the departure tax

    God bless thanks everyone

That should be plenty considering what you want to do.

    7 meals ~ $1,400
    Coco Bongo ~ $600
    Transport ~ $250
    Souvenirs ~ $500
    Groceries ~ $500

    Plenty left over.

Yes, departure tax is usually included if flying from the US and Canada. If flying from the UK (as Newtraveller is) then it's normally exclued and payable separately on departure.

It's included when booking many Canadian Holiday Packages through the tour operators.

If you book hotel and air separate from Canada, you will most likely have to pay the departure tax. I know Air Canada doesn't include the charge, not sure about the Canadian charter airlines.
