7days is enough for us, need 3 more days at home to flush out liver. The flight from the UK is way to long I did it 2 years ago taking daughter to college over there. Leeds England.
We were planning for 10 days this year, but found that 12 days were actually the same price - so we booked 12. The difference was flying in on a Wednesday and out on a Monday.
We hear you there... Last year we spent 16 days there, Feb 12 to 28' came home for a day to do laundry and headed back down for 10 more days and partied with Steve and Janet and the kids ate some real Mexican cooking aka Jannette home made curry chicken, then Steve and I almost blew up his kitchen trying to,light the oven. Later we went out and didn't come home till the early hours of the morning and off to the cruise, (Janette was very upset at us for a moment), flew home again to get Jodie did some laundry had some Canadian food and Timmies coffee and then headed back down 3 days later for another 14 days. The place is addicting that for sure 40 days in Cancun is not nearly enough
Because we're on a longer trip this year, we may plan to actually leave the resort a couple of times besides the days where Steve takes on a catamaran ride.
Hi when we booked with Thomas Cook 14 nights was cheaper than 10 nights flying from Manchester, dunno how they worked that one out. Cheers. 27thMay-10th June
We usually do 2 weeks and right at about the 2 week mark the food starts to get to ya the same drinks start to get to ya.. we are exausted from partying and we are wanting dominos pizza..ahaha! ( we have ordered it to the resort) but at 2 weeks if we had another week we would find a beautiful place to recover and rest up.

Some of you apparently have awesome jobs with awesome time off! Lol I do but it's called having a sugar-daddy (ok, he's only 4 years older and isn't wealthy but I don't have to work much so good enough for me!)
Also flying from Manchester not looking forward to the 10 hour flight. Just trying to look beyond the flight,going 27th May-10th June. Cheers
