Go to orbitz.com. I priced out $135+tax rate for 3/6-14 just a few hours ago. If you book an air+hotel package, you can get it for even cheaper. Use 200entertain orbitz promotion code to get $200 off a 7+ day air+hotel package. I did book early....for way cheaper than $135. I booked roundtrip from Chicago + 8 nights at Omni for $888 after the $200 off coupon. Considering airfare itself is like $350, I'm paying about $70 (including tax) a night for my own room.
Hey Irish. It might be worth getting a flight to England then flying from there. Will probably work out alot cheaper if you get a ryanair flight here. I got a return flight from Birmingham to Cancun from the 8th to 15th for £399 return. So $650.
to add to everyones advice I must also say maybe your friends are booking oasis for a reason there is no other experience like it. probably the best party hotel of it's kind, and you won't get that anywhere else. but I agree if you can't get oasis then stay next door from it, make sure your group is close by becuase it's hard to meet up out there sometimes when cell phones don't work out there or can be very expensive. also the people on here are a friendly bunch so that can help you out while your out there. we have people staying in both hotels. oh and welcome to the boards! woot woot!
BC is right plus rooms have been being remodeled, the oasis is the best party experience in Cancun worth it totally two thumbs way up :aktion033:
I don't think you guys are putting how much the trip is going to cost her into consideration when you give this advice. I know you love Oasis but I seriously doubt any of you would be willing to spend $2000 just for air + a week at Oasis. That's a shitload of money. And going out is going to add even more to that amount.
