    Many moons ago I use to work in Human Resources and was in charge of hiring and firing for a international market research firm.

    Ian's absolutely correct in how you want to answer that question. Don't give the canned answer that everybody else gives, think of something that actually does apply to you, state that as your weakness, but turn it into what actually amounts to a positive for the employer.

    Always keep in mind what the "ideal" candidate for the position would have to say in response to a question in order to get the job. So for example, if the job requires long hours and/or travel....you don't want to mention that you have kids or pets or other baggage in the interview.

    Conversely, if your single and the company is a family oriented one, then you want to refer to your significant other as your fiance, not your boyfriend or girlfriend.

    There are some really good books out there that have all the model questions and how to answer them, just try to conform your answer to fit the position you are applying for. A canned answer won't cut it because it's too vague, but a cleverly crafted one will.
