INTERNET - Terrible today??

    I'd guess it would be double the upload speed of the 2mb, i.e. 512kb/sec would still take an age to upload large movie files.

    Sam: Had 24mbits back home in "scary socialist Sweden" when I left... 5 years ago :-|

    That ran me about 15$US/month and included unlimited phone calls to landlines and mobiles inside the borders.

    I see a great business opportunity in Mexico regarding cheaper high speed internet and better phone services, except the fact that one would have to fight against Mr Slim :lol:

    We share a connection with our neighbor, just to keep the price down for the moment, but man... Cablemas and their so called "service" is laughable, and I would certainly be in fetal position, laughing like a madman if it weren't US that were having the problems :p

    I'm not there at the moment. Has anyone called the problem in to Telmex? If so, what did they say?
