Wireless internet should be up and running soon at the resort. Not sure what the cost are going to be. I know for Premier its free. So I doubt it would be much. Maybe like $5 or $10 for your stay.

    Re: WiFi

really... that's interesting I guess that just means that more WAPs will be needed to make sure that the signal is strong throughout the resort.

I use to take my laptop everywhere I went to get onto the internet. I no longer do that.....I just turn on the internet service on my cell phone and use that during my trip. When I get back home, I call to have the internet service cancelled on my phone...

Ouch, NormsKid...sounds like a great way to run up a HUGE phone bill!!

They're finishing setting up the new Wifi system now... when you arrive the name is the network (not to be obvious) is Temptation. I've been picking it up for about a week now.

I dont have pricing for the general public but for Premier members, it's free...just stop by and ask Norma or Enrique for the code. I think it will be up towards the end of the next week if it isnt already.

Who are you people working on your vacation anyway...THE SEXY POOL CALLS!!!! :D :D :D

The phone bill isn't any higher than the cost of the service. I don't get hit with "per minute" charges or anything crazy. Mexico is a part of the plan I signed up for so it's a flat, nominal fee per month.

It will be if there's rebar or wire mesh in the concrete. If it's concrete block, it all depends on whether they used any steel reinforcement.

Any solid object slows the signal - drywall walls and studs work just fine too.

Also, older houses with plaster lath walls rather than wallboard, are really WiFi proof - the wire mesh in the walls that holds the plaster to the lath boards acts like a Faraday Cage (a wire mesh cage designed to trap all radio signals) and blocks the signal quite handily.

I just emailed Temptations regarding wireless availability. I got this response back within 2 hrs - wow!

A: IS INTERNET AND WI-FI SERVICE AVAILABLE FOR GUESTS?
We offer Wi-Fi internet access in the public areas of the resort.
