We arrive the same day as you. Your classes sound hilariously informative. I think day 4 is most intriguing. Looking forward to sharing a few yucks. (It's a Midwest term)

Nope ,,,,,,, but did see a couple of nice specimens last night but going by our resident expert they must of been a cross between a European Horny Beaver and a Southern Hairless

So if they are a crossbreed I suppose they cant be registered as a pedigree :)

As self-proclaimed mayor of the Canadian Beaver Club, I would say yes to recognizing the pedigree of this particular breed.
Of course I would have to see their wood action first hand, before voting. But All sounds in order to me.

I think Day 4 needs to be expanded to cover at least two days. After all - I have spent 25 years attempting to keep the beaver happy and still fail at times.:bash::aktion070:

With not even one mention of the Spitting Beaver you must be a rookie.

Well its funny that you mention the 'Spitting Beaver' because my 'pet' beaver which is a cross between the Horny European Beaver and the Southern Hairless had a gnaw/ look at her family tree ( told her to be careful but would she listen , nope the tree fell over ) and it seems that on her mothers side she was related to a 'Gushing Beaver' and some where in the long line of genetics it seems she has some of her great great great Aunt Victoria's genetics in her , now I didn't know about the Gushing Beaver
so I looked it up on Wikipedia and its surprising what you learn

Wikipedia : Gushing Beaver , Thought to of become extinct in the eighteenth century a colony of Gushing Beavers were discovered in the mid 1990's , after a prolonged breeding programme they have been introduced back into the wild and have bred successfully with other Beaver Species . It is not easy to recognise a 'Gushing Beaver ' and sometimes the genetics lay hidden for many years , But many owners of 'Beavers' get the surprise of their lifes when they discover they have a 'Gusher' in their genetics
