hi there my partner and i are travelling to cancun nxt june for the first time i was just wondering if you can get strongbow or magners cider these are my drinks of choice, my missus will basically drink anything but im not much of a spirit or a beer man cheers in advance Ricky

Never seen cider here ever. BTW Michael the George and Dragon never did materialise. There was one British pub in the HZ but it only lasted a couple of months. There is another downtown but no British beer I'm afraid.
nuts, well, that's news to me!!! :lol: I even found pics of its "grand opening" on the web, but obviously for naught.
The owner ended up opening a bar in Playa del Carmen, but unfortunately died a few month (IIRC) after it got going.
There is a kind of cider here, but I don't know if it's close to what you are looking for. It's what passes for champagne at big new year's parties and comes in a champagne style bottle. I know you can get it at Costco, but can't for the life of me remember what the brand name is. "Sidra" is the Spanish word you want, pronounced "see-drah".
