Whoa there PJ! I don't think anyone is trying to ram theme nights down anyone's throats. That's not the point.

Thing is, Theme Nights sound like a brilliant idea for partying, but people don't feel comfortable putting it "out there" if they don't know that there'll be others participating. I know by experience that if Stacia knows that there are at least a couple of other girls dressing up "like tarts," she's down for that party, too.

Nobody should be pressured to do stuff they don't want to do, we all get enough of that at home, at work, etc. At TTR, it's about chilling, losing inhibitions like Karen said, having a killer time doing stuff you might not do at home, like that.

Personally, I look like an idiot as a doctor, I think. But, I can sport a kilt like nobody's business. So, I don't usually do the dress like Dr., thing, though I am for the upcoming trip in August, because I'm supporting Stacia & Sharon in their teensy little naughty nurses outfits. otherwise, I would choose one night over the other and just go down in my wrinkledly-ass cargo shorts, stained wife-beater sporting the Texans logo, and my mis-matched flipflops with my hat on backwards while Stacia's in 5" spike heels, and a smashing little black dress.

.... and then see how long it takes her to smack me.

If your going in September, the theme nights will be well represented by the group. It definitely adds to the fun and if you feel like you are going to be the only one then stick to red night, white, night, lingerie night. and glow night. They are easy to do and you won't feel stupid wearing red, or white or even lingerie. Glow sticks are easy to give away and make the group bigger and bigger. We bring lots with us and pull in people that don't know about cancuncare. If your brave then wear the naughty nurse. Trust me you won't feel stupid. There will be alot of cowboys/cowgirls, it's all pretty easy to do.

    No Stress Allowed!

We love the theme night idea and love participating! It's just difficult when packing (and now with luggage fees) to plan for every last possible option unless you know in advance. At this point, we are prepared for Men's Dress Shirt Night, Naughty School Girl Night, Red Hot Dress Night, White Night...

I read a thread later that suggested Naughty Nurse Night, but how many things can I continue buying not sure if they will indeed happen??

I just figure we'll participate in what we can, and enjoy others if we don't have all the stuff! It's vacation...no stress allowed!!!!! ~L~

I used this method somewhat. I scoured the Aug/Sep roll call thread, then created a Labor Day group and invited all the folks from the roll call. I know that I'm the only one out of 5 in our group that's on the forum so I have to relay all the information back to them to get their opinions. We'll see how it works out.

I think I read somewhere that people who are part of this forum wear bracelets to other people will know. Is that true and where would we get one. I think when people are in pool with wet hair etc might have probs recognizing people from their pics on here.

HeathernSean, the officially-endorsed method of obtaining your CancunCare.com wristband is to go on one of Steve's Boobs Cruises. he hands them out when he's getting everyone ticketed "in" for that day's cruise.

So.... that's one way. The other way is perfectably acceptable as well, anything that allows folks to recognize one another.

The solution to your posed "problem," of recognizing someone who is afflicted with Wet Hair Syndrome, is .... put up a pic of yourself with just that sort of wet hair. Problem solved!

Frist night we arrived at TTR last year we wore the orange wristbands (I had purchased) But the theme for CCC members that night had been women in Men's White business shirts. So I told Bill we'll just join the group with all the White Shirts! And since I only had one button hooked on my shirt... I didn't hear any complaints.... I enjoyed Bill's permgrin all week :)
