One thing that would make this so much easier--and I think would be a huge money-maker --would be to have a shop on the grounds where people could purchase theme-night wear (and even toys...for the exchange, of course! :p).

On our first trip, I'd read about the theme nights but wasn't sure that other people would get into them. Once I got there, I wanted to join in schoolgirl night, but couldn't because I had nothing. If I'd have been able to buy something on the spot, I would have.

Then, in March, once six of us started an impromptu lingerie night, soon about 50 percent of the women at Paty-O's changed and joined us. So, John is right--once people see you're having fun, they will join in if they can.

SO...seeing that TTR doesn't really seem to want this as their image, I think Steve or Chinos should look into opening a Lover's Lane-style shop, maybe even just a few racks in the belly of the Boobs Cruise boat? Think about it, Steve: alcohol + sexy atmosphere on the boat = men more than willing to spend money to dress their wives like tarts! :huepfen021:

Well said on all points. I couldn't have said it better. Mrs. J4 sounds lie Stacia in setting up every lady so they can all feel good about what they are wearing so all can have fun!

And like Stacia, I thinks Mrs. J4 is hot especially for being in her 40's!

I have agree with the first post. We would want to join in with any themes going on but we are concerned about being the only ones doing it. As its are first time going we would want to know that there would be others doing the same. From what I have read that attitude changes when you get there but being newbies at this point we would not reluctant but hestiant to do bring any dressing up (or down) if we were not sure others will be doing the same

    Fist trip

This is my first trip. I'm really looking forward to and would like to enjoy the thyme nights. We will arrive on Aug 10-14. If anyone has any tips as for as dress for the nicer resturants please let me know. Also, should I make reservations for dinner.

    Thanks
    Clint

We're on our 2nd trip - planning many more to come but our thoughts:

To make it more successful for all - people just need to dress UP. That means looking your best for a casual environment.

We do understand, its vacation time, but for the gents - showing up with your lady dressed in heels & a dress and you looking like a slob in your beat up sandals, wrinkled cargo shorts, screen printed wife beater tank top and your favorite ball cap is just not putting your best foot forward and creating a uncomfortable environment for the ladies to strut there stuff. We see this all the time at the resort and out of the resort back home.

The ladies seem to do alright most every night.

Were not big on costumes, yes we do it up on Halloween parties where we know 99% will be in costume but when it comes to wearing a costume to a party knowing that participation will be low - we'll pass.

    We like themes:
    White Night
    Red Hot Night
    Retro Night - 60's, 70's, 80's
Colors of Mexico Night (Red, White, Green)
    lingerie night
    We Love Boobies Night (Pink)
    Luau/Hawaiian - bikini tops & grass skirts
Western -Jeans/Jean Skirts & Pearl Snap Shirts

On my first trip to TTR last November, I was really nervous to be holidaying single at the resort. However, I participated in the first theme night that came up after I arrived (naughty schoolgirl), and it REALLY helped me to break the ice with the CCC repeaters and feel part of the group. I think theme nights are a huge plus for newcomers to the boards and TTR. Jump in and don't feel dumb just because it seems silly when you are at home packing these outfits. Remember, nothing will seem too silly when you are a hot mess after a day of drinking in the Sexy Pool! :aetsch004:

No reason why you have to feel you have to participate in every theme night, though. Pick a couple to do, and do them up right. costumes lower inhibitions: isn't that what TTR is all about?!

Steve are you saying you are looking for suggestions on how to grow your brand? Make CCC more visible? Just add more revenue or more streams? Id luv to kill a few pints with you and brainstorm my thoughts for CCC. I luv your site, (just not a fan of the cruise.) Visit the site almost daily, so anything to keep it trending up is of interest to me. We will be @ TTR for Halloween and also NYE so if you want set aside a couple of hours for a chit chat and I'll share my ideas with you. Hell book a few nights in TTR at Halloween (the weather has to be better this year) and we can talk over dinner. Let me know

when we first joined last dec ish, ( found ccc thru trip advisor actually, everyone raving about the Boobs Cruise) we thought ( foolishly) that the theme nights were in conjunction witht he hotel....

apparently not so..... got to the hotel, looked for naughty school girl, didnt see it, didnt go anywhere further with it, so we didnt pursue it.

edit: one thing that i think might help with knowingothers ont he board, besides the bracelet, what about buying ccc t's? great thing to wear around the pool.. and, a bit more out there then the bracelets.

I think it really helps when you have someone take the reins for the month and be agressive about promoting the themes and keeping the group together.

I have to give it to jessned during June.. granted they were there for two weeks!

They got those theme nights together, and June was a huge success as far as I could tell for the theme nights. There were also A LOT of CCC people for June Junky time..

here's another part of the reason that theme nights fizzle. Often they party during the day leads to othe activities off resort or on resort in someone's room........or people go back to their rooms for a before dinner nap and wake up after 10pm when the theme nights are over and the real partying begins. If you can't find a party by midnight......you've likely been left out on purpose!
